Talk Boost Programme
Crownfield Infant & Nursery are very excited to be part of the Talk Boost project for our KS1 pupils.
Talk Boost KS1 is a targeted intervention designed to improve the language and communication skills of 4 to 7 year olds. It comprises three 30-40 minute group sessions a week, delivered over a 10 week period by a trained teaching assistant. It is designed to be run with groups of four children.
Using Talk Boost can significantly improve children’s talking and understanding of words. Two thirds of children make good progress after just eight to ten weeks of the programme.
